We implement security measures appropriate for sensitive legal and financial information, including:
- Physical security for paper files and original documents
- Encrypted electronic communication with clients where available
- Secure storage of executed estate-planning documents
- Access controls limiting file access to authorized personnel

Email is not a secure communication channel. Do not transmit wiring instructions, bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, executed contracts, or other highly sensitive information by ordinary email. Wire-fraud schemes targeting real estate closings are common; always verify wire instructions by phone using a number you independently confirm.

- Real estate files: retained in accordance with Tennessee regulatory requirements and our title insurance underwriter guidelines.
- Estate-planning documents: original wills may be stored in our office vault. Copies of trusts and estate plans are retained consistent with professional standards and your written direction.
